I’m going to be a bridesmaid on Saturday, and I just got my outfit dropped off. The bride’s dad has spent a fortune on everything, and our outfits are no exception.

Although the dresses are rented, he has bought us all matching green hair ribbons and earrings. Unfortunately, while he has paid a lot of attention to the wedding, he hasn’t paid enough attention to the bridesmaids to notice that my ears don’t have holes in them. They are a ‘dainty’ design (stud post with an emerald and a tiny cluster of tiny diamonds, with 3 tiny chains coming from them with a pearl on each chain) and they would look real naff if I got them converted to clip-on.

Come hell or high water I’ll be wearing them for Sarah’s special day, even if it means forcing them through myself on Saturday morning, so what is the best option?

At the moment, to me the best option seems to be to get my ears pierced tomorrow, however that leaves only four days until the wedding, meaning I’ll be changing them over 5 weeks short of the 6 week ‘healing up’ period, then on Saturday morning scrub my hands, clean my ears and the new earrings thoroughly before changing them, then remove the earrings as soon as I get back from the reception (and either put the original piercing studs back in or leave them to close, depending on whether I decide to keep the piercings).

I’m just wondering if anyone has a better idea?

What is your earring style?

What do you think? Is it ok with you? Would you be ok if your doctor had one small round hoop in his left ear? The reason I am asking is because I have both of my ears pierced and wear either small tiny hoops or square diamond studs. I am going to graduate in May and have my Bachelor’s in Psych. I am not sure though how people would feel about seeing a counselor or therapist that has a small stud or tiny hoop in one or both ears. What do you think?

For my wedding rings, earrings and pendants….

I’m looking for home remedies. I’ve heard of one, like soaking in Vodka, but I’m still not sure.

? asked:

No rims. Maybe just black diamonds or black solid studs. People gave me stores and stuff last time and couldn’t find. Can someone give me a link to the stud this time? Thanks!

navy blue abercrombie or UCLA hoodie or a black v-neck shirt (which once?), skinny jeans, black converse, black/dark brown hair down, small diamond earrings.

its nothing formal, just a volunteering center, but theres this cute guy so yeahh. so is it laidback and friendly?
ahaha, its comfortable :)
are there any other outfits that are laidback?
what do guys like?

Some Guy asked:

I recently got my left ear pierced (about 2.5 months ago), and I’m still using the starter earring. Eventually I’ll probably just wear a small gold loop type thing, but I have to wear a post/stud type earring for the next 3 or 4 months.

So, I guess the question is, where would you suggest I look to buy a male earring. It could be a website or an actual store. I’m not really sure what’s out there as far as male earrings; I tried looking myself online, but I didn’t really find anything that I cared for. I’m not really into the flashy huge fake diamonds or anything like that…so I guess I’d also be interested in suggestions/information about various kinds of earrings.

Thanks.

I’m looking at diamond earrings online from superjeweler.com The quality is rated “3 stars- H/I Color SI2/SI3″

The sites 3star description is as follows: considered a very nice quality. Better than the usual quality carried by most jewelers, 3 Star diamond are white and eye clean. Color is I/J, Clarity is SI2/SI3.

I understand SI3 means i will be able to see some imperfection with my naked eye. I am OK with this. I’m looking to get the most for my money and understand “you pay for what you get”

I want to make sure that I will not be getting diamonds with big black spots or something like that.

Will these basically look nice with out heavy close inspection?

Site also guarantees money back or replacement. Should i worry or just try it out?

Will these earrings look nice in H/I Color SI2/SI3?

Thanks
