Contrary to what a lot of people think, unless a diamond is a fancy color, the most desirable body color in a diamond is colorless.

As for inclusions, SI 1 and SI 2 mean Slight Imperfection to the first or second degree. Please note the included chart:

Since all diamonds are graded with ten power magnification, a stone is graded downward from what can ONLY be seen with magnification to what can be seen with the unaided eye. Naturally, you don’t want to see dark inclusions, clear ones (feathers) are preferable over dark in your diamond, but also important to consider is where the inclusion is located. Is it over near the edge or is it right in the middle where it might be more readily seen? Anyway, unless your diamonds are a each a carat or larger it is unlikely that anyone would see a tiny inclusion in your earrings.

Personally, I would recommend that you look in jewelry stores around you that would have earrings in that quality so that you can actually look at them and decide. Generally speaking, the diamonds you described are fairly normal quality for earrings, and better color than a lot of them out there.

SI3 is not an accepted, recognized rating - it’s really just a nicer way of saying I1… which means that yes, you will see obvious inclusions with your naked eye. Most likely, they will appear somewhat cloudy or whitish from arm’s length, which is where most people would view them from…

SI1-SI2 is Slightly Included. That is,Inclusions are visible under 10x magnification, and may possibly be visible with the naked eye.In case of SI2-SI3, the inclusions will be visible to the naked eye. H/I color is nearly colorless.

The most important thing in such cases is to see where the inclusions are. That is, If the inclusions are right at the centre of the stone or on the sides. If it is at the centre, there is nothing you can do about it. But if it is on the sides, there are possibilities of hiding it with the kind of setting chosen.
