Second is fine, and 3rd is kind of pushing it if you wanna be more conservative but will give your style just the right amount of ‘edge’.

Conservative is a single earring in each ear and ultra conservative would be clip ons rather than pierced.

I have a double set. I think they look great. I was thinking the same thing as you. In the long run I am so happy that I decided to get them.

Usually I wear diamonds in my second set and hoops in my first set.
You dont have to I just think it looks better. hoops never look right in a secod set they are too high up.

Getting a third set might be a bit much.

You do not have to worry about your ears being full of holes because you can close them up at any time. The holes are so small they can be closed up in about a month.

I am much older but generally like the classic, conservative look. I got a second set of holes several years ago and wear diamond studs in them.

I like having the second set, but for a really conservative look, only one earring in each ear is more appropriate.

I definitely think a 3rd set would be too much.

One thing you can do is get the additional holes and wear all of the earrings you want when you are out having fun and then only wear one set when you want to look more conservative The holes will close up if you don’t use them.
