So I have been a good little boyfriend researching diamonds and here is what I have.
$500 - 1/2ct. TW princess cut diamond solitare earrings in 14k white gold - zales.com
$400 - 5/8ct. TW princess cut diamond solitare earrings in 14k white gold - zales.com Both with color and clarity I-J I2-I3
$395 - .4ct. TW princess cut diamond earrings - 14k white gold
$569 - .5ct. TW princess cut diamond earrings - 14k white gold

$550 - 1/2ct. TW princess cut diamond stud earrings in 18k white gold. Minimum Color I. Minimum clarity SI2. Bluenile.com
What size is too small? .4 would be .2 on each ear and isnt so expensive. I got nothing but good reviews for penndiamond and blue nile. Zales was mixed, however I can go in to a store here and look at them personally whereas the other 2 are online. All have 30 day return policies. Please help me figure out my best deal. Its my girlfriends bday and I want her to feel special!!
