You really need to go and buy them where you can look at them in person. Sometimes the diamonds may not be matched very well in the color and clarity, and you may be disappointed in them. If you can see them you will know what you are getting. Also have to be careful that you are not sold cubic zirconia instead of diamonds,

here i found a nice pair for you.
i have a pair of small diamond earrings (1/4 carat each) and they cost me over $1000. it really depends on the color, clarity, etc. ideally you want a color of F-G-H. color D-E is flawless and very expensive. the higher the letter, the more yellow in color the diamond will become. you definitely dont want yellow color!! as for clarity, you want very slightly or slightly included (VSI, SI). this refers to the amount of spots in the diamond that can be seen under a microscope. go to the website to find out more info. look on auction websites like. they have jewelry and will give you the exact specifications on the diamonds, (ie color, cut, clarity). you can find something nice for a reasonable price. remember ‘total weight’ means the weight of both earrings combined.
