as far as where on the internet, be careful… you cant see what youre buying, make sure theyre reputable, and certified (the earrings) check the 4 c’s also, cut color clarity and carat weight… make sure you get an authenticity record and appraisal… better yet, go to a reputable jeweler in your area… SEE WHAT YOU ARE PAYING A lot OF $$$ FOR. GREAT GIFT IDEA, BUT VERY PRICEY, SO DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO THAT BIG FAT BILL.!!!

I’m thinking Blue Nile. I wouldn’t waste money on platinum, particularly for a diamond stud earring. It sounds nice, but it’s going to look the same as white gold and cost three times as much. I also think that round is a better choice than princess cut…I don’t care for the squares on guys.

Honestly, it would be better to visit a local jewelry store so you can see what you are purchasing. Sometimes you can catch great deals and I really don’t think buying them online would be any cheaper.
